Vision and Statement:
The Academy of Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as one of the effective governing bodies in the field of art policy-making, has a valid legal status and an effective strategic role in streamlining research, policies, and artistic activities in the country.
Given the existence of artistic heritage, artists, centers, and many works of art in the country and its significant attractions for Iranian and non-Iranian culture and art scholars, the need for artistic studies and research to promote culture and strengthen religious, national, and indigenous identity, is becoming increasingly apparent. Becomes; Therefore, the Academy of Arts, benefiting from the thought and experience of the country's leading culture and art in the form of associate, affiliate and honorary members, and specialized groups, including "drama and dramatic literature", "music", "architecture and urban planning", "traditional arts and "Handicrafts", "Visual Arts", "Cinema", "Multimedia" and "Philosophy of Art" as well as the use of facilities, equipment, and suitable space and specialized library, has fulfilled many plans and programs in introducing, reviewing, reviving and developing Iranian-Islamic arts.
This academy benefits from the artistic expertise and research capabilities of its members, continuous communication with policy-making institutions and organizations, utilizing the capacities of educational and research centers and performing arts, interacting with effective artists and researchers in the country's art space, streamlining, ideation and research in arts. Iranian-Islamic and critique of new arts with aesthetic, historical, analytical, and comparative approaches and can play an effective role in evaluating and influencing the country's artistic activities, based on divine and human values. Also having a suitable space for art events including conference halls, studios, library and document center, art workshops, specialized magazines, galleries and museums (Saba Cultural and Artistic Institute and Palestine Museum of Contemporary Art), publications (MATN Institute), and Art Research Institute, It has provided the ground for the implementation of master plans and programs for the study and research of art.
