Bahman Namvar Motlagh, President of the Academy of Arts, called Iran and China the representatives of two great civilizations and said: "These two great countries of the Orient have historically been very influential in the fate of humanity and the world.
He said the world today is in need of the unity of the Orientals and stated: Iran, China and India are three great Asian civilizations that have been the origin of many ideas, especially art, and we are glad that our relations with China are expanding; We hope it will be the same with India.
He added: "In my opinion, perhaps the situation of nature would not be like this if Eastern aesthetics had prevailed." Our view of nature is completely different from that of the West. Persian, Chinese and Indian paintings, in comparison with Roman and Greek paintings, are very different in the type of relation that man has with nature.
