Yazdi, the secretary of the meeting, noted that the series of art diplomacy meetings is problem-oriented, and considering the coincidence of the Tehran Virtual Book Fair and the unveiling of the Iran-India shrine by the Academy of Arts, the diplomacy of art books will be discussed in this meeting.
Seyyed Ali Mojani, the former cultural advisor of Iran in Germany, also stated that the discussion is not about old and new versions of art, and said: "In this meeting, I will discuss the concept of art books in general."
He added: "Since when has painting and book decoration become an issue and this issue has caused artists to prepare and process books and turn written works into works that are respectable in terms of value and artistic values.
He went on to discuss the concept of Iranophobia and that art books can be one of the ways to create a different view of Iran, saying that this tradition has existed since the past and we should use it more and more efficiently these days.
In this meeting, Ahmad Shakeri, a member of the faculty of the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies, also addressed the publishing industry and said that what we are involved in these days is an illustration, and art books are one of the ways and tools we can show the true and desired image of our culture and society.
