In commemoration of World Crafts Day, the Academy of Arts is honoring traditional craftsmanship through an event titled "Kalek-e Khial-anzar" (The Marvelous Trick), which includes an exhibition and workshops.

According to the public relations office of the Academy of Arts, the second ceremony celebrating World Crafts Day, titled "Kalek-e Khial-anzar", will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2025 (21 Ordibehesht 1404) at the Iran Hall of the Academy of Arts. The event, curated by Dr. Mahdi Makinejad, will include speeches and discussions by prominent figures in culture and art. During the ceremony, eleven master artisans and practitioners in the field of handicrafts will be honored.

This event is organized in collaboration with the Academy of Arts, Art Research Center, Saba Cultural Institution, Deputy for Handicrafts and Traditional Arts, Aranik Company, and Yas Novin Pars. It will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on May 12, 2025 (21 Ordibehesht 1404). The accompanying exhibition and workshops will run from May 11 to May 21, 2025 (20-30 Ordibehesht 1404) at the Art Courtyard of the Academy of Arts.
