Permanent member and member of the Department of Traditional Arts and Handicrafts of the Academy of Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran

 

 

His father, who was the representative of Isfahan carpet, seeing his son's talent, led him to the painting workshop of Haj Mirza Agha Emami, and after that he was educated in Isfahan Fine Arts Conservatory under the supervision of Professor Isa Bahadori.

After the end of this period, he went to Europe and spent a few years there studying the works of prominent Western painters, and as a result of these studies, he reached a new approach to the art of painting with world standards.

After returning to his homeland, the talented Iranian son began his work in the General Directorate of Fine Arts in Tehran, and after a while, he was elected the director of the National Arts Department and a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran.

Farshchian is a creator of a special style and school in the field of Iranian painting, which, while paying attention to the originality of the traditional principles of this art, has increased the capability and efficiency of Iranian painting by inventing new methods.
