- Studied architecture at the University of Vienna, Austria;
- Graduated in Film and Television Directing and Stage Design from the Film Academy of the Vienna State Academy of Music and Performing Arts, Austria.
Resume:
- Film critic, translator, member of the editorial board of "Cinema Star Magazine" while studying in high school;
- Writer and director of more than one hundred documentaries and educational films, lecturer in cinema at the faculties of dramatic arts and television, Tehran;
- Head of Cinematography and Photography, Faculty of Social Communication Sciences, Tehran;
- Member of the jury of the International Festivals of Educational Films and Children and Adolescents, Tehran;
- Member of the UNESCO Jury at the Krakow International Short Film Festival, Poland;
- Member of the Jury of the International Documentary Film Festival in Trento, Italy;
- Permanent member of the Academy of Arts.

- Silver Dolphin for the ceramic film from the International Festival of Documentary and Educational Films, Tehran - 1963;
- Rhythm, a film selected by UNESCO to teach film editing in the film schools of that organization - 1964;
- Honorary diploma for the film of the Isfahan Grand Mosque from the Berlin International Film Festival, Germany - 1970;
- Honorary Diploma for Rhythm Film from Vienna International Film Festival, Austria - 1972;
- Diploma of Honor for the film Iran of the Land of Religions from the Vienna International Film Festival, Austria - 1973;
- Delfan Tala for Safavid architecture film from the International Festival of Documentary and Educational Films, Tehran;
- Honorary Diploma for Isfahan Film, Geometry on a Human Scale from Moscow International Film Festival, Russia - 1977;
- Honorary diploma for the film Vangeh Ravan Jahan complained about Roshd International Film Festival, Tehran - 1998;
- Golden Dolphin Special Award for the first Iranian Studies Documentary Festival "Commemoration of Manouchehr Tayab" Kish Island - 1999;
