Hossein Lorzadeh was born in 1919 in Tehran, Qalamestan Alley near the garden and bath of Haj Abdolsamad.

His father, Master Mohammad Lorzadeh, was one of the famous architects of the Atabak period and a colleague of Haj Hassan Sani al-Diwan, the architect of Atabaki. Among the relics of Master Mohammad Lorzadeh, we can mention Haj Hassan Sani Al-Diwan Mosque, Seyyed Nasir Al-Din Mosque, one or two porches in Sepahsalar School, from the neck to the bottom of the dome of Agha's tomb and the building line around it and Amir Bahador Hosseinieh Mirror Pool. Master Hossein Lorzadeh went to school with Mirza Hassan when he was seven years old.

He was then sent to the school in front of Mohtasham al-Saltanah's house, and his artistic talents were evident from that time. He was also one of the best in the presence of his father; While the other students suffered from hard work, despite his young age, he designed several knot backgrounds in the classroom that amazed everyone.

After finishing elementary school, he went to Soltani High School located in Amir Bahador Bridge and from there to Kamal Al-Molk School to learn sculpture. This period lasted a year and a half. Then he went to Seyed Mohammad Taghi Naghash Bashi. During all this time, in addition to school, he also practiced architecture at home with his father.

After Ahmad Shah was deposed from the monarchy, the painting workshop of Seyyed Mohammad Taghi Naghashbashi, located on Nasiriyah Street, was destroyed due to the street improvement plan, and with the permission of his master, Larzadeh ‌ a small workshop next to Majdal Doleh Mosque ‌ between Hassanabad and Gozar intersections Taghikhan established the "Hossein Larzadeh Painting House". Master's father died in 1305. At this time, Master Lorzadeh, at the invitation of Master Jafar Khan Kashani, who was working on the construction of the stone mansion on Ali Khan Hill in Saad Abad, began painting in one of the rooms of this mansion.

After that, he designed and built an Iranian door for the Royal Bank located in Topkhaneh - now Tejarat Bank. The formalization of the head in the Dar al-Fonun school and the balcony of Pirayesh at the beginning of Lalehzar Street and the Yemeni printing house in Ferdowsi Street are also among his works during this period.

He then repaired the ousted building of the National Assembly. In 1932, Master Lorzadeh went to Tus to build the tomb of Ferdowsi, and for a while, he accompanied the late Emad al-Kitab, who was in his old age at that time and had gone there to calligraph the poems and writings of Hakim Toos' tomb. He was writing. He quotes the late Emad al-Kitab as saying: "Now, what is wrong with writing well in addition to architecture?"

The end date of Ferdowsi's tomb coincided with the 30th anniversary of the master. He also mentioned some poems: ‌

At the end of the month, the tomb of one thousand three hundred people was completed, thirteen

After completing the work of Ferdowsi's tomb, 3 masters returned to Tehran and started working in the Marble Palace. The dome of this palace is one of his works. Also, at the request of Ayatollah Boroujerdi, he designed and built two Grand Mosques in Qom.

Another of his relics is the repair and construction of parts of the holy shrine of Hazrat Sayyid al-Shuhada, and on this occasion, he became the honorary architect of Aba Abdullah al-Hussein.
