IAA Holds “The Especialized Workshop of Iranian Miniature”

The IAA-affiliated Naghsh-e Jahan Art Research Center (NJRC) holds a specialized workshop on the Iranian miniature with Farideh Tathiri Moghaddam in attendance, public relations department of the IAA reported.

The workshop is planned to teach various methods of Iranian miniature especially schools of Isfahan, Heart, and Tabriz. “Getting to know Iranian miniature- Isfahan school,” “Pencil outlining of human figures,” and “coloring” are some of the elements to be discussed in the workshop.
Farideh Tathiri 55 is a graduate of Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran in visual arts. She has held some 15 individual exhibits and has participated in 30 domestic and overseas ones. Besides, she has won many awards including Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts award for the best miniature work, and Niavaran Palace Women Exhibition second award for the best earthenware.

It should be mentioned that the workshop will be held in a weekly basis and inaugurates January 8 at the IAA-affiliated NJARC.
