A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Academy of Arts and the Organization of the Islamic Culture and Communication
According to the public relations of the Academy of Arts, this memorandum with the approach of art diplomacy, art economics and art tourism aiming Cooperation in Cultural and artistic development and interaction was signed in the premises of the Organization by Keyvan Rahimi, Secretary of the Academy of Arts on behalf of the Academy and Hojjatoleslam Mehdi Imanipour, Scientific and Cultural Deputy of the Organization of the Islamic Culture and Communication on behalf of the Organization.
Rahimi, in his speech, expressing satisfaction with the signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the Academy of Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, said: "Considering the inherent duties of the two institutions and addressing the issue of art diplomacy, this memorandum can be useful and helpful."
In his speech, referring to the interactions and cooperation between the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication and the Academy of Arts, enumerated the necessary facilities and potentials for international cooperation.
He considered signing the Memorandum of Understanding to increase the facilities of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication and the Academy of Arts in coordination with the cultural counsels of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad and to form a more coherent and systematic cooperation according to potentials of both sides.
The meeting was also attended by Mahboubeh Palangi, Director General of International Affairs of the Academy and Mohammad Ali Kiani, Director General of Iranian-Foreign Affairs Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, who suggested using the Art Diplomacy Working Group to implement joint cultural and artistic programs and set up Islamic art webinars abroad.
